Our fishing sessions are a firm favourite with visiting schools — and it’s easy to see why! In small groups of just eight children, our fully qualified instructor leads a 2-hour hands-on lesson that introduces the basics of fishing in a fun, relaxed setting.
From learning how to cast a line to setting up rigs and choosing the right bait, children gain practical skills while soaking up the peaceful atmosphere of our on-site lake.

But it’s not just about catching fish — it’s about learning patience, focus, and respect for nature. Children are taught about fish safety and handling, how to protect aquatic habitats, and the importance of looking after our waterways. Whether it’s their first time holding a rod or they’re already a keen angler, every child leaves with new skills, new confidence, and a story to tell.
It’s a calm, rewarding experience that connects them with the outdoors in a truly memorable way.
